No Kinon's for me with A-mount yet, but look what arrived this week!
I bought myself a Sinterklaas present

#1 Meyer Primoplan 1.9/58mm, M42, SN 1393512

A99ii + Telemegor 5.5/180mm (Exacta)

#2 A first sample (desperate indoor with short and gray days at the moment)
What a bokeh!

A99ii + Primoplan 1.9/58mm

#3 Here is a shot from an earlier acquisition, not shown before, but used to shoot #1 Telemegor 5.5/180mm (Exacta) SN 1605176

A99ii + Primoplan 1.9/58mm

Good for you, Fred. A wonderful lens - my favorite. The 5.5/180, meh.

Well Mike, the Primoplan was really on my wishlist and an interesting opportunity came along. I am sure it will be used frequently.
The 55/180 was just more a 'fun purchase' (for only 39 euro delivered from Germany) for the year of Meyer and future Day prime challenges.

Nothing wrong with Telemegors Fred (although my 300/4.5 is unsharp at any speed, suspect a bad copy).

Took a quick shot with the Trioplan while trying to remember how to use all my flash stuff.

finale?
I could easily fill up 8+ (very big plus) pages on my own
(you don't want to know how many Meyer pics I shot, but will spare you the (over)load), but what is interesting... how many days are in a Meyer year?
it's not limited by calendars, is it?

Fred: I hope you enjoy your Primoplan as much as I do mine.

I haven't posted here even though I have some images queued up. I'm trying to move my Dyxum posting images to Flicker but there is a learning curve that I have not yet conquered.

I thought I would be playing with the Kinon but got hooked on a couple of mirror lenses I picked up recently. I've been on a mirror kick for the past two years. With some luck, I'll get out again this weekend.

Nice job with your Kinon, Paul. Did I see a crop?
Regards,

woodrim
