I just bought the Canon EF 85 F1.8 USM that is currently on sale for $300.

I like my Sigma 50-150 F2.8 HSM II. The MC-11 supports the 50-100 F1.8.

I discovered to like primes at least 2x separated.
Anyway I need autofocus to shoot at my kids, so adapting an old mf lens is not an option, given my skills.
The actual E Mount AF telephoto primes are too large and expensive

I'm still waiting for any good aps-c telephoto zoom. The 55-210mm came w my a6000 and to use a photographic term mine is crap, poor detail and color.

The FE 85 F1.8 is pretty light (371 g), it is lighter than the manual APS-C Samyang 85 F1.8 (405 g).
