This morning I remembered to take some film out of the freezer, wouldnt be doing much without that. Looks like my XD wont pass customs in time, so Yashica FX3 & SRT100 it is.

The "formulas" will be:
- FX3 + ML 50mm 2.0 + Ilford FP4+ @ ISO160
- SRT100 + Rokkor PF 55mm 1.9 & MD 50mm 2.0 + Kodak TX400 @ ISO400
- a35 + Maxxum 50mm 1.7

Hooray ! Looks like some good test shots are already up and lots of folks involved, I bet the talk threads just nuts.
Sony SLT-A65, Tamron SP 17-50, Sigma 70-200/2.8, Minolta 50/1.7, 100/2.8 Macro, 100/2, 300/2.8 APO, Metz 50af-1.

Canon 30D with Canon 50/1.8
Sony A100 with MinO 50/1.4
KM 7D with MinO 50/1.4
Sony A900 with MinO 50/1.4
Sony Nex5 with Minolta MC 50/1.4

That makes seven combinations

I'm in with a 50/1.7 and a 50/3.5 macro.
And maybe something else if I can finish the purchase.

The lenses for this challenge.

Wow! So many 50's.
Myself, I am just a poor boy. So I'd like to do a week with this:

To butcher John Lennon, "An Easy Choice lens is something to be."
All week, DT50 SAM @ f/1.8

Here are my 3 entries. Unfortunately i've never shot film so i wouldn't know how to even set up the x-700, it's before my time. But if i do figure it out it will be my goal to post those pictures.

x-700 by rickztahone, on Flickr

My goal for this challenge will be to not do any PP at all, and no cropping as well. It will force me to think of every shot before I hit the shutter.

3 50's by rickztahone, on Flickr
From left to right, Minolta MD 50 1.7. Sony 50 1.8. Sigma 50 1.4. I may throw the 16-50 into the mix as well, after all it does have a lens lock which to this point I found completely pointless, especially because it's so friggin' difficult to engage in the first place!

Oops, I forgot my 'signup photo'

It's not a very interesting lens (Sony 50/1.4)

Camera Model: SLT-A99V Lens: 24-70mm F2.8 ZA SSM Focal Length: 24 mm Aperture: f/4.5 Exposure Time: 0.006 sec (1/160) ISO: 6400
Has anyone seen my missing 5n?
