Dear Dyxumers,

Taking advantage of the sunny Sunday I eventually finished counting your votes and I am really pleased to announce the photo which won the competition for the best shot of 2011 ...

This is beautiful landscape photo indeed and so the competitors had really hard time trying to catch up despite the fact that they were also incredible shots ...

So, I'm pleased to announce that Honourable Mention award goes to the following captures:


"greenfinch fight" by Sharpeye

"Eye of the Storm" by maewpa




Congratulations to the winner and the HMs and thank you all for voting and participation in this DPC. This was real pleasure to see so many superb photos grouped together.
