Dear Dyxumers,

After counting all votes it turned out that the photo which won your hearts was ...

Congratulations to EdwinB and napo and thank you all for voting and participation in this DPC ...

Happy shooting,

Edwin, after seeing your post early on in the competition, I even reconsidered entering mine at all- knowing that a true masterpiece was already there.

This struck me as something Tim Burton should use as inspiration for a new animation- titled 'Frankenstein's Apple' or something similar.

First class idea- and first class delivery. Well done!

Steve the best ideas are coming in a split second. I had the loupe on my desk because i was repairing something and it looked like a doctor staring at me. The night before i saw a TV documentary about surgery and transplantation. BAMMM the idea was there.
Next day i went to the grossery store and bought two apples after that it took me ten minutes to set up and shoot.

Many congratulations to both EdwinB and napo for these two worthy entries; both inventive in each respect and technically superb images.

Well done to the others involved in the DPC but these are most definitely a cut above the rest!

Best regards, Neil.
