I'm looking to buy a waterproof vacation camera for use at water parks, beaches, boat rides etc.

Any recommendations? There are plenty of cheap ones with good reviews on Amazon but they seem to be meant for videos and action use such as the GoPro. Not sure if that's good enough.

TIA
Sashi

Olympus TG4 or TG5 have the best reviews.

If you want a Sony I guess it would be the RX0 or TX30/20/10.

another vote for the Olympus TG-5 and it's one of the few out there that shoots RAW

I had researched waterproof cameras in the past - but never pulled the trigger to buy one - and found the Olympus TG series to be best for my use.

Another vote for Olympus, still using the indestructible TG-830 for beach trips. I bought the Oly after my TX10 developed a leak at the battery door seal. Olympus seals, locks and grips are very well designed, most TG series have GPS. 1/2.3" Sony sensors work fine in good light.
