Next is to compare purple fringe of the 3 lenses.

 

 

Both Zeiss and Minolta do suffer from CA in similar manner while 50/1.7 do not appear to have this problem.

 

Another sample to show CA problem of the Zeiss.

Zeiss is very resistant to flare even in quite an extreme condition like in this picture.

 

At widest aperture, this lens produce a very smooth and beautiful bokeh.

 

Give faster shutter speed in low light which can help to counter the blur.
