WELL, this is my case with those pictures..
I love them all, I love how you turned you cameras into an extension to your senses, it was really hard for me to decide when voting, and still..

I have to confess that I never got round to voting in this contest. I found it initially very hard to choose between the truly excellent and varied finalists (and, in fact, some of those that didn't make the final) and then never actually got round to making up my mind.

But your kingfisher photo is a worth winner and I was so glad of the privilege of seeing the prints of this and your other brilliant kingfisher images at Focus yesterday. It was without a doubt one of the best images ever posted here, and could possibly be the first time that behavior has ever been captured. There was no beating that photo, but I was just humbled to be in the running. As far as the other twelve pics go, there's not a clear winner there and I'll bet it was a very close race with just a few votes seperating all the others.
