just popped up on Ebay - a Minolta SB-70S Still Video Back for the Minolta 7000, circa 1987. The predecessor of Minolta digital cameras. Amazing, the innovation of Minolta engineers in that period.

Amazing that they're asking $2000 for something that won't work on anybody's Minolta 7000, not unless they already have the battery charger for it.

The problem with these kind of things is that they are either stupidly expensive or stupidly cheap....

I guess they're hoping an enthusiastic collector really wants this. I think they're asking much more then its (historical) value, but TBH I don't have any clue for how much these things go usually....

MHohner has some information, but not much.
