Hmmmmmm, seven days since Ine posted her award-winning Oreston shot. Is it raining throughout Europe?

I'll be back at the swamp tomorrow and may bring the 4/300 Orestegor again. While the big 500mm mirror I use gives me much better reach, the big Meyer has the most wonderful rendering. For now...

1.9/58 Primoplan and A7 II
Regards,

woodrim

Sorry Mike, serious health issues with my mother in law take most of the family's free time at the moment (as mentioned in April Foolishness challenge), so no shooting for me these days. I am trying to keep an eye on the forum though. There are a couple of shots on my memory card from last week, but no time to PP unfortunately. Maybe I can do a few shots tomorrow, also to catch up for day prime challenge. My Trioplan 100 is waiting for it impatiently. Only Meyer news I can report now is that a bargain Primagon 4.5/35mm is underway

You were lucky Paul! Had the camera with me today hoping to shoot maybe a quick one out of work, but it was all grey here up a little northward today. In fact I had a very similar shot in mind as yours ( which means I like it). I have to think of something else now

Reports (if they can be believed) indicate a grey day approaching for Sunday.Damn, that's two bad days in one week I'll have to get my fill tomorrow.

Oh, Paul, I like that one. I first guessed Primoplan. I'll have to see if my Diaplan comes close to that.
Regards,

woodrim

Sorry to hear, Fred. We all must prioritize and I've certainly missed my share of fun due to more important things. I hope all works out for the best.

Well there's a lot of sadness Mike keeping us from the joys of Meyer lenses. My last post here was almost 3 weeks ago. To end this absence I decided to choose a Meyer lens as my second April Fools lens:

Meyer Trioplan F:2.8 f = 5cm (1935; C-mount)

#101 Snaky

#102 N is for Nice bubbles

#103 Narcissus

all with a7rii + Meyer Trioplan F: 2.8 f = 5cm (1935; C-mount).

This cine lens is not FF, it only just covers APS-C. Lovely little Trioplan, excellent sharpness, beautiful bokeh, bubblelicious; and a lot faster than its 'regular' (M42, Exakta, etc etc) 2.9 sibling.

Anyone interested in a not very cheap New Meyer APO Makro-Plasmat 105/2.7? Less than 3000 EURO, a bargain. Too rich for me.

Beautiful work Leo!

Thanks for the tips, but the Lydith was Exakta and I am still on m42 with the a99. The new meyer is a bit too rich for me as well.

Here "some" bubbles with the Trioplan 100/2.8 on A99.

Also posted several Meyer shots ( Trioplan 100 and Orestegor 200) in the April challenge (days 8 to 14)
