A850: 1999€
compared to
A900: 2489€

Considering brenner doesn't have the lowest prices and that it could be A850 "initial" price, we could expect that A850 street price quickly become very attractive... why not about 1600€ for christmas?

I guess it is the reason why they are not doing any advertising on A7XX.
IMO, sony hopes that many A700 owners will be very tempted to switch to FF.
Early 2010 they may introduce A7XX and A9XX successors...
Of course that's pure speculation

Wow, ~700 € for the new 28-70/2.8. It better be good then, to command such a premium over the Tamron version (assuming it's a Sony hull around the old KM/Tamron optical design).

It's labeled a SAM lens in that image.

This price is more than likely a 'teaser' or an overly optimistic price. I personaly do not feel that it is low enough. It needs to be nearer the € 1500 / L1000 pound mark. As it stands, it is not worlds away from current A900.

Probably my wishful thinking though!

I do not speak German good enough. Is it IN STOCK already, or for pre-order only? Had anyone looked?

Didn't notice that, well spotted. I'm still wondering how much the optical design is improved over the former KM/Tamron (screw drive) version.

I hope it is or the price (+700€) for Tammy 28-75 + SAM is a little bit expensive IMO.

We could also consider that it is a pure teaser and that they are not taking any risk with thoses prices.

Wow, $1000 for the 28-75/2.8? That can't be right. Though maybe Sony would sell the 28-75/2.8 in the US at $700 but that's still pretty pricy. For $900 you can have the sigma 24-70 HSM.

I was kinda hoping the kit for the A850 was going to be the rumored 24-105/4.
A900 - KM 17-35/2.8-4 | Σ 24-70/2.8 HSM | SAL 70-300/4.5-5.6 G | M_D 100/2.8 Macro | Min_O 20/2.8 | Σ 85/1.4

I would not trust anything unless officially announced by Sony.

So do you think those images are legit or 'shopped from an a900?
