Hey All,
Doing a promo for a promotions company that ran a large party for Halloween. My a99 arrived 3 days before the shooting so I used that as my primary and the a77 as my back up. All in all I'm very happy with the camera, there was a few other crews there but it's safe to say the a99 allowed me to do more. None of their screens articulated so i was able to get much more interesting angles, as well I was shooting at 6400 ISO the whole time to really test noise performance. Rough Cut Video with A99 |

As a "newbie" you are forgiven, but our rules state:
Video photography We are not a video site. Despite the fact that a number of Alpha cameras are capable of taking very good video, it is not part of this site’s remit to offer support or promote discussion in this area. Members are welcome to post links to videos that are instructional or informational on Alpha mount stills photography, but are asked to avoid discussion of video technique and the artistic side of video photography unless it is directly relevant to stills photography. We would also ask members not to post direct links to their movie magnum-opus even if it is very good and filmed with Alpha equipment. After that, can I say "welcome".

Oh ooops, I'm terribly sorry about that. I definitely won't post any video related topics, thanks.

The answer would have to be no, although the matter has not arisen AFAIK. |

Sorry you got publicly spanked here. I think you did a cool job with that video!
I've sent you a PM to ask a quick question about your workflow and so as not to break the precious rules. |

Please note that I could have deleted the video and sent 3.0 a Private Mail to explain why, and none of you would have been any the wiser. So I don't take well to comments like "publicly spanked".
The video is not "illegal". This site is just not into them, and that's official. I'm closing the thread, but before you start crying foul remember we have a Private Mail system. It's not censored either.
