My apologies for the spate of bump posts, but I was trying to find an elegant way of bringing the threads for the next 7 days up on to the front page... However, I'm not sure I managed elegant (but I've maybe followed the spirit of foolishness...)

Day 11 Full commentary!
nandbytes - nice pic. I'm struggling to see much of the smooth water effect. Does it really take 32 pics then blend them? How come the wheel isn't moving too. Was it jammed? And that's a lucky stationary heron

Yes, I had my fingers crossed on the heron It has moved its face a bit, but its not too bad.

It does indeed take 32 pictures (about one per second) but it blends them progressively rather than blending them all in the end. So after its finished shooting (somewhat slowly), it straight away gives you a RAW file.

The smooth water effect wasn't as effective as I had hope for with 32 pics (but there is some). I have experimented with 192 and 256 shots!! They will get posted here soon

That wheel hasn't moved for more than 100 years

My apologies, a complete "fail" on my part, I seem to have come down with a sever case of "Spring Fever". That's my story and I'm sticking to it.

If you find you stumble, please don't let it stop you picking up later on or for the rest of the month and doing what you can - we appreciate the participation and we'd love to see photographs...
