Hi Harald, My son is the collector. He focuses on 1:50 die-cast construction models, very close to O gauge. We have an entire room in our home dedicated to his models. With the exception of my 1955 Lionel set, our model trains are N-scale and we belong to a model railroad club running NTRAK and T-TRAK modules (see http://www.pbase.com/bms44974/railroad). Cheers...
