After a break of some time, I am taking up the cameras again. I used to mostly shoot events and in recent years, cycling in particular. Still using 2x A700 which works well enough with 80-200 and 16-50 with the cams on a black rapid strap.

I have refreshed the battery fleet with Top-Max batteries which have a neat USB charger that works far more effectively than the Sony charger. And I have changed the CF cards for 16G Sandisk Ultra SD using a UDMA adapter from ebay. 800 RAW images per card which is a useful amount.

Image quality and camera handling remains as good as it ever was with the A700, it's now down to the operator who is pretty rusty to get their groove back.
