Lovely Butcherbird shot Peter

Maybe I should put up a warning for these following shots as they may be a bit ribald for some

A pair of Black Shouldered Kites doing what comes naturally - these birds to me are one of those that constantly tease by being around when I have no camera. I was quite delighted to come across these yesterday after walking my dog with camera in hand. I first noticed the female sitting in the tree calling out and after about 5 minutes the male came swooping in did his business for 30 seconds and then flew off leaving the female looking all forlorn for another 20 minutes or so. Taken near enough at sunset with the a99ii & 70-400Gii.

Thanks Steve. Nice set of one of my favourite birds. Don't know about a warning, but captions may have worked.

#1 Ouch, not there you idiot.
#2 That's better.
#3 OOOh, now that's nice

Peter you are right I should of gone with captions but yours will suffice and are very funny

Here's a recent shot of a male Red Tailed Black Cockatoo that was keeping an eye on me while munching on some gum nuts.

And some more Black Cockatoos from my recent trip. First two taken with x1.4 TC, last three with x2 TC. Just showing how strong their bite is to puncture the nut shells.

Been a while since I got out last, darned kitchen reno getting in my way, but finally managed a walk Saturday. Unfortunately "wrong" time of day and very windy so everything was in hiding.

Concentration, Great Egret.
