Colin: do you have a picture of the church w/o the branches in front of it?
Rusty: awesome catch, but could you double check the WB? The colors look a little cooler.

Serdar - Thanks :D
I'll check on it tonight when I got home. I shoot in RAW, with AWB, and I find the AWB is often off in winter. I suppose the snow reflects a bluer light than normal ?

Serdar A: I will take a shot from the other side, I think it goes back to the 12th century.

Another Bristolian Sony user. That's 3 I've found in the last 2 weeks.

Is this church in Bristol?

Bob, it's already in hand. I mentioned it recently on the lovely Forest of Dean bird thread as the two gents responsible for those photos are also from Bristol. Martin from Llanelli way expressed an interest and I said I'd sort something once the weather warms up a little.

I'll post something to this fact on the meetings forum over the next couple of days and see what sort of response we get.

It looks lovely. I go to Blaise occasionally with the dogs but I live in Bishopsworth on the south side of the city so don't know Henbury too well. I used to train in the pool many years ago when I was swimming for Bristol. I was a touch fitter and a LOT slimmer back then. I'm not allowed in most pools now as when I get in the water level rises too much
