ChrBra: Its getting pretty cold for sure! Show us and our travelers the Fotografiska museum if you can, it would be great! :)

ryansholl: Trust me, people were giving me some veeeeery long looks when we made the snowman with Mr. Egg. I'll get to that greenish overtone soon , if I can. Thanks!

edit: the green is gone!

It sure looks like the globetrotters had a great time in Finland, good shots JVV. Only one more stop then it's my turn to host the eggsplorers, looking forward to it. Christer, keep them safe in the big city and let me know when they are on their way

It will be no vacation for them at my place as I'm rebuilding part of the basement, I hope they are prepared for some hard labour like chopping down a concrete wall and such just kidding but I will need help painting the walls. Maybe I will take them to a hockey game also!

Great shots :D I forgot to check this thread out over christmas and the new years o.o So many updates.
I assume you made the mini snowman with gloves? Otherwise I would expect that small of a snow to melt with bare hands o_O
I hope none of the egg family break down due to temperature differences :p

Thanks :) No gloves involved, just cold, bare hands and dose of carefulness. I was pretty worried about Eggling's shell since he is the real deal.

It must be getting pretty darn cold in Sweden right now (it's almost -20 Celsius in Finland now). Good thing our travellers are well equipped. Lots to see in the Stockholm area! Can't wait for pictures :)

When I got home from work today I saw that I had some very rare visitors, the neighborhood "darksows", a creature that in the old days was used to scare children, sat on my porch. Mythological they say -phew I say. They actually came out of the dark since they had heard of and wanted to meet some very noble guests, the eggsplorers that I had in my car. How they found out? I have no idea!

DSC04548 by Swede66, on Flickr

Of course I invited them to meet the just unpacked travellers. The egg child was shy and a little scared for the strangers and tried to hide behind daddy Egg.

DSC04555 by Swede66, on Flickr

The darksows didn't say much but promised to be back to hang out tomorrow, probably just to find out if the Eggs were some strange kind of Darksows without tails.

Mr Egg also wanted to say hallo to our winter decorations, it reminded him of his visit in Finland he said

Well, no more shots from today, we want to get to know each other and the egg child was a little tired and wanted to go to bed early. They are going to work with me tomorrow and maybe we'll go skating tomorrow
