Maybe this will tie everyone over until his next installment...
Mr. Egg visits the gold-domed Iowa State Capitol ![]() The Gray's lake walking path ![]() ![]() Hanging out at the Des Moines sculpture garden - pun intended (He's not in this one, but it gives some perspective) ![]() (He's in this one) ![]() and if you still can't spot him ![]() Mr Egg visits a pretty typical abandoned barn - may have broken a law or two in the process ;) ![]() Egg standing at Iowa's past and viewing Iowa's future ![]() And his last stop in Iowa. Some good old fashioned tailgating. ![]() Farewell kind sir, it was a pleasure having you! ![]() Edited by ryansholl - 03 December 2011 at 03:15 |

What a lot of beautiful things mr. Egg has seen in Iowa.
He must have enjoyed it as much as I did looking at the pictures..

Hi Ryan,
I had wondered what had happened to the little guy - looks like he's been having great fun there and those are some truly striking locations you took him to! The Sculpture Park is very interesting in it's own right (and I am having problems spotting the little fella - "Where's Eggy?" ). The last one is how I imagine most people think of Iowa - flat and endless skies; it's a lovely way to finish that visit off though! Anyone know where he is next? Kind regards, Neil. |

Flat? I'll have you know that there's a HILL on the left side of that picture! :D
Those last pictures were taken maybe 6-8 weeks ago. Mr Egg has since been to Octupi's place of residence and I believe are at the next person on the list's place. I'm sure he'll turn up soon. |

We can do flat with the best of them - Romney Marsh is totally flat; we live on the known 'high point' on the Marsh - 2M above sea level.... Skies? Love them! Thanks for the update as well. Best regards, Neil. |

Nice to see he's turned up again. But where's Leggy Peggy? Guess she decided he's not all he was cracked up to be?

I'm happy to say they both showed up in Pittsburgh, the City of Champions, home of the Steelers, Penguins and though we rarely speak of them the Pirates. For our international friends those are Football, Hockey and Baseball teams.
So in their own words here s what they had to say about their visit ![]() We were greeted warmly buy our hosts though something left me with a bit of an uneasy feeling in my yoke. I could not put put my finger on it at that time. ![]() We took a trip to visit aunt HENrietta and uncle Robin and found them to be rock solid supporters and followers of our journeys around the globe. ![]() The next day we got really great seats watching the Steelers game and were introduced to something called a "Terrible Towel." I think its something like those South African things they blow at soccer games, but silent. ![]() The next day we took the time to peck out a few emails to our friends. We were promised a great breakfast in the morning. We can't wait. ![]() It quickly became apparent that not all is well with this visit HELP! This is not funny at all! |

After hosting the European Mr.Egg (for a long time) in Turkey with just a few shots (because of my health problems), he has started his journey last week to Mipr to Poland..
I'm sorry about this delay, thanks.. Ferhat Edited by LesPaul - 12 December 2011 at 09:53 |

Good to see the 'other' little guy having a good time - Did the Steelers win BTW? I have a soft spot for them after spending a week there many years ago...
I do hope they both survived breakfast mind you..... Kind regards, Neil. |

![]() ![]() They had a fine visit with the Pgh Steelers and their relatives, Aunt Henrietta and Uncle Robin. They did seem a bit stressed though... FrankieG |
