Faith is a phenomenon that is present everywhere. Every human being believes in something and therefore has a faith.
Many people take a refuge in an umbrella for example. They believe when it rains that umbrella is going to protect them from rain. Most people have faith that their bus driver is not going to crash their bus or they have complete faith in a pilot and entrust him with the most precious thing we have - our lives or in a restaurant cook believing that they will not be poisoned even thou they have never met them ... the list is endless.

The young boy below has huge faith in his mom. Learning to walk is hard I am sure. In first image he looks hesitant to make those hard steps but seeing his mom's hands he walks towards them (in second image) believing that she is going to catch him if something goes wrong.

Excellent observation regarding faith. It's good to see you back!

Beautiful narrative accompanied by those delightful photos.
My only minor quibble is the ubiquitous smartphone in mother's left hand. The gesture would have been much more powerful with two open hands reaching towards the toddler.

Looks like the little guy took his first steps well. The doors he stood for look very small. Was it an entrance or something else? TFS Svjetlana - i always had faith you'd come back one day .

Doubting Thomas?

A beautiful perspective and a strange door indeed!

TFS, Svjetlana!

Great shots. I didn't read the narrative because I didn't need to.

That of course is a compliment.

Basil: thank you
Joe: thank you and I agree with your statement
Michele: thank you. Having a faith in your case has paid off. The door is used by very special kind of small beings who live in that house.
Or... is a basement door traditionally made smaller for some particular reason way back in older times and can still be seen these days like in this house.
Harald: thanks, see previous answer regarding door
Paul: thank you
