I was on a waiting list for receiving a A7III for about 2 months (wanted to get it through pro-lease and was at the back of the line )
Last week I got it and took it out to the Deventer op Stelten outdoor theatre festival.
Only used my 2 AF primes (FE1.8/85 & FE2/28) just to see how good the AF preformance is on the camera.
Well, I am stunned ! By AF precision and IQ (just JPEG for now as the A&III is not supported in Lightroom classic ).

Here are some pics, more to follow later in this post & my july challange

Congratulations on your new camera, and thanks for posting those initial impressive images.
Looking forward to many more visual treats from you and your A7iii as you get to know one-another better and better.

Well, I do not realy like that the size of the camera has grown (vs the A7s). Yes, it is better to handle with bigger lenses, but the FE1.8/85 is my biggest lens The voigtlander 1.7/35 Ultron looks somewhat petit on this new body.

Button layout + joystick will (hopefully prove to) be handy features.
The EVF is just great compaired to the older models. During Focus-peaking the amount of detail is just wonderful.
