SOLD - please move to old items - thank you
Up for sale is a Sony A700 DSLR (body-only), which might present interest to EU citizens, as there wouldn't be any extra taxes to be paid. (the camera should have been part of a 3-item sale, but that deal fell through in the end, hence the reposting) - this is the US version of the camera, which has an active grip sensor, unlike the crippled European version - well... the A700 is now officially discontinued, and the mockup of the successor shows that Sony wants to steer away as far as possible from the Minolta heritage; some might be tempted to acquire a used A700 body at an excellent price, rather than waiting for a replacement model that will undoubtedly cost much more and for which there are no official specs available yet - the camera is in excellent condition, it has served me well since I bought it new, and in return I have taken very good care of it; the only imperfection I was able to spot was a tiny (about 0,5cm long), hair-thin scratch on the LCD screen, but this is only visible under certain viewing conditions (LCD turned off, powerful lighting and a specific angle of view); obviously this is just a minor cosmetic issue and does not affect the camera's functionality in any way - comes with box and all original accessories: cables, remote control, manual (pdf), software CD, neck strap, VF cover, mount cover cap, original battery and charger - included extras: additional original Sony battery, 8GB UDMA CF card and 4GB MSProDuo card (both Lexar), Sandisk Ultra CF/MS/SD cardreader, (optional) DK-21M eye-piece magnifier and Gary Friedman's Complete Guide to A700 in .pdf format - asking price - EUR 499 SOLD (for EUR450) The price does not include shipping costs. Payment would be done via either MoneyBookers or bank transfer. If you feel the price is unreasonable, I'm willing to listen to your offers, but please keep in mind that there would be no extra fees to pay, as is the case with eBay. MoneyBookers fees are also lower than PayPal's. Thank you! And here are a couple of pictures of the camera:
