Less than half the price in the past.
As there are a few other options available, only hardcore Minolta fans would pay that^^ |

No, actually only someone completely out of touch with the market for these things would pay that. I sold a nice one here at Dyxum a while back for $1700.

I agree, that's double what it should go for.

I thought it was way to high, but I had never even heard of this lens and had to check here to see if it actually existed. At first I thought it was a beercan!

It is a great lens. I used to have one, but didn't use it enough to justify the investment.

This one is really overpriced..... There is one " minolta 200 4f macro" in Camera market Wukesong in Beijing (I saw it yesterday) for 12000 Chinese yuan = 1900 US$.............

If someone wanted to buy my one for 4K, I'd certainly be interested in talking. It'd get me one step closer to that 300/2.8 SSM.
![]() It's a nice lens of course, but the pricing is more based on the fact that its performance is an unknown quantity to most because of its rarity, more than being that much better than competing long macros. Similar story with the Voigtländer 125mm macro. A lot of buyers don't seem to be making informed cost/benefit decisions. |

This one has no glass lenses, but christal ones. There are also diamond ones, but they are even more expensive...
(ridiculous price, it's time Sony/Zeiss replaces it, so everyone can enjoy this optic beauty) |

I was lucky when I bought my Voigty, I paid quite a bit less than 4 figures for it, if Voigtlander and Sony ever re-introduce these lenses then there will be a lot of people very upset lol

Remind me to never buy anything from ebay seller foto-can.ada. This is an ad for their gouging price policies. When I look at this ad, I don't see a lens for sale. All I see is a promotion for greed.
