has anyone got a Kata D-Light Hybrid-537 DL Bag?

I have ordered one as i think it looks a brilliant bag for the price, its not been delivered yet, but only after buying it have i noticed one thing id like to find out about it.

on all the pictures i have seen of it, i have only been able to see it with the shoulder strap fitted when both bags are attatched together, i haven't seen any where it looks like the bag can be used with the shoulder strap if i just want to use one of the sides on their own.

can anyone let me know, can i use the shoulder strap with each bag on its own or does both side have to be attched for this?

it will be a little rubbish for me if both have to be as i ordered the bag wanting a smaller bag to carry on my shoulder instead of a big one, but it will defeat the object if i cant carry it on my shoulder and only hold it by hand.
