Could the Mods set up a link to a paypal a/c that we could all donate too?

That way when it has reached the required amount the Mod could then close the link and forward the money to joerun's paypal a/c

I too would be happy to donate in this instance

I'd definitely cough up a few bucks. Of course as was mentioned it probably shouldn't become standard practice but this sounds like a pretty nasty one-time thing.

Count me in!

I bought my first DSLR, Sony A350 last November, almost a year ago.
Not long after that I came across this site and ever since I am on it all my available time.
So far, many and many hours I’ve spent reading and learning here about my own equipment and photography overall, and will definitely keep doing that …

For me, this is a way to make my little contribution to the forum fellowship…
So, I’m in.

I'm in too.

A little over 2 years ago I was caught up in an attempted scam by a member too. I stuck to my guns and the scam didn't work. I only lost my mind

Alpha Lens Rental will certainly chip in. I've made several good purchases and sales here, as well as the generous advertising I receive here since the day I started my business. All of your support has been keeping my business successful, so I will definitely be willing to give back to the community in any way I can.
If someone puts this thing together, please send out an email to all those who have put their name up here so we don't miss out on the important part.
Check us out!

This is a cautionary tale -- a salutary reminder of the phrase 'Caveat emptor' (let the buyer beware). The Dyxum community is, on the whole, a remarkably friendly and honest community, but it is still necessary to be cautious when dealing with people via the web, whether it be here or on ebay, particularly if they are newcomers who have no credentials when it cmes to buying or selling.

But I hate to see anyone scammed, particularly here. And the more that subscribe the better for all. So count me in too.
