Forum help .. addition

Dyxum forums are tested with all current browsers and you should be able to use our forums with your browser set at default settings (no additional set-up is required).

However, for various reason you may experience problems with log-ins. The first thing you should check in case you have problems with our forum is in case you use any firewall or other "internet security" programs.

Dyxum forum requires that our cookies are allowed to be used and your IP address should be visible to our web applications. For this reason, you should check if these are blocked by your firewall or other similar software.

Cookies are small text files stored on your computer with your dyxum.com personal settings. We DON'T use cookies for anything else but for storing your forum preferences and as such cookies are required for using our forums properly.

Occasionally, cookies may be corrupted and you may experience problems  log-in. In this case you need to do the following.

Delete all dyxum.com cokies visiting this page (this will delete ONLY dyxum cookies, since we don't have access to cookies from other websites).

In some cases visiting above page will not delete your cookies. In these cases please follow this instructions:

FIREFOX
1. go to tools-> options

2. Select privacy tab and then show cookies

3. find dyxum cookies and delete them

INTERNET EXPLORER

I hate this browser, even IE7 isn't near that flexibile as other popular browsers are. If you are using IE you may consider using some free utilities as IECookiesView. This utility is quite simle to use so no description is needed.

After you have deleted your cookies, restart your browser (make sure you closed ALL browser windows) and try to login again.

In most cases, when you have problems logging in, checking your firewall settings and restore your dyxum.com cookies will help. If this isn't the case contact us and we will try to help you ASAP.

Aside problems described above, the most common problem while trying to register is your anti-spam filter for your email account.

To register and activate your account you need to verify your email address. For this purpose an activation mail is sent to the email address you have submitted.

Please be sure that yor email service provider isn't blocking our activation mails since you won't be able to activate your account without verifying your email address first !!

Email services like hotmail, yahoo, google, aol, comcast etc are known for their restrictive anti-spam filters and it's very likely that our mails will be blocked.  Use white lists or trusted address lists and add dyxum.com as a trusted email source (we don't abuse your email address in any way !).
