Guess what I discovered near our guttering! A wasp nest! Yay!

Swarm

Camera Model: ILCA-99M2 | Lens: 24mm F2.8 | Aperture: f/4.0 | Exposure Time: 0.002 sec (1/500) | ISO: 500

I couldn't get much closer - I kept gettting buzzed, so I chickened out...

shot on july 5, posted almost a fortnight later
(been working on the land last couple of days. planting the 2nd batch of green cabbage + some curly kale and pointed cabbage. which was still a breeze.
with hardly any views, all we could see from the Ferrari were dust clouds rolling. but then we had to rescue all of those little plants with huge amounts of water, dragging huge waterhoses, the size of entire acres with heavy copper couplings, along. xtremely heavy. and covering all with immense nets after that.
hefty work w/b an understatement in this heat.
-own stupid fault, wearing sturdy insulated! hiking boots as one wouldn't want to walk barefoot or on sandals on those clumps of now concrete clay. later on thought I sh/h worn wooden shoes, seriously! - ).
