Yesterday when I took my broken Minolta 1.4X T/C into the store where I bought it I learned something new. They regularly send Minolta gear in for repairs and the place that does the work has remained unchanged since Minolta days. What I mean is that it is the same people in the same shop, but the ownership changed from Minolta to Sony a few years ago. The new information is that as of this past April, Sony has sold (or transferred??) this division to Kenko. It is still the same people doing the work and so they are still working with the same stock of remaining parts for these older lenses, but now they are owned by Kenko.
