Few older lighthouse pictures from my archives:

1. Harmaja lighthouse in Helsinki, Finland

α55 + Sony 70-400G @ 400 mm, f/8, 1/500 s, ISO 100

2. Pelican Point Lighthouse (or should say nowadays Lodge[1]), Walvis Bay, Namibia

α77 + Sony 70-400G @ 230 mm, f/7.1, 1/640 s, ISO 100

3. Kristiinankaupunki lighthouse, Kristiinankaupunki, Finland (yes, bit more spartan and modern design)

α77 II + Tamron 150-600/5-6.3 @ 600 mm, f/7.1, 1/1600 s, ISO 400

[1] Yes, the Harbor Control building next to the lighthouse has been turned into fancy lodge and I guess partial reason for this is that the lighthouse is no longer at the edge of the Pelican Point as the peninsula has grown towards the sea.

Lange Jaap in Huisduinen, Den Helder, my place of birth.
My grandfather sat on top of it some 100 years ago. He was a painter. No safety harnesses back then.... Fortunetely the radar wasn't there yet.
It used to be open for visitors in the past. I have climbed the 284 steps to the top several times. Now it's closed. I shot some more which I will share in an open view

A99, Sony 70-400SSM, at f4, 1/200 , iso 100

Some details. Querinius Harder was the designer
