Although this lens has soft borders, centre sharpness above f/2.8 is really excellent.
Makes for a pretty decent Portrait lens on a crop camera like the A77.

This lens gets re-discovered by me every couple of years... Having it on Nex5N is a pure joy with the newest sony adapter.
