you should get a used a900. prices that low are absolute steals.

Personally, I'd be selfish and look for an upgrade. The A55's great for an new starter, and the a77 and a850 would definitely be a nice step up if you're getting more serious.

If your kit isn't FF compatible, I'd consider the a77 (AF micro adjust, additional focus points and thumb wheel really do make a world of difference).

Something to bear in mind is that the a57 is on the way. You could pick up another cheap a55 or have a moderate upgrade.
