Funny how having a hobby like photography gets one far more interested in nature. Or does a fascination of nature make one interested in photography? Whatever... nice (and very fascinating) shots nonetheless.

I like the adults nice creatures with lovely colour that surely provides a good camouflage on the leaves. Why the hatchlings are born with different colour-"camouflage" are they born in different enviroment?

Pavel, when I first saw the hatchlings I thought they might be big fire ants, so maybe that is what protects them from being eaten when they are first born. I think when they move into foliage they become green very quickly. These creatures have certainly inspired Sci-Fi with their alien looks and beautiful but deadly manners.
