Well I don't want to start people speculating again but....

Just been on the support part of Sony UK and was looking for a lens manual. In the dropdown list there is a reference to SAL50F18 and SAL1855 but the links don't work yet.

Guess these lenses are close to launching. Interestingly I tried the same thing with the Alpha camera section but no "goodies" sighted there yet.

Great find!
I think we'll see new alpha body with 18-55 kit soon

AF/MF switch at the lens mockups presumes some kind of micromotor inside, may be it's a micro-USM. So we always have a chance to see lowend body without screwdrive
AF9000, a700
AF35/1.4, AF85/1.4, AF100/2, T17-50, afMount MC 58/1.2 & MD 45/2

Certainly looks like the new 18-55 possible kit lens and the 50mm f1.8 are close to launch.

New kit lens = New bodies

Why else would they try to SELL people a new kit lens above and beyond what comes with their A200/300/350 kits? That is, unless they choose to just put the new kit lens with those cameras; which is highly unlikely.

Now, where's my overpriced 28-75 tamron re-badge at?

I want this lens, previewed at PMA 07.
"Large Aperture Wide Angle Fixed".
Its in the front center. I'm hoping it really is a CZ 24mm 1.4.

In the back is the super tele and on the left the CZ 24-70.
And on the right is "Wide Angle Fixed" which i have no idea.
Maybe a 35G replacement? or a slower & cheaper 35mm? Looks bigger than the 35G though.

Actually, there *is* a new camera model listed as DSLR-A330 (with kit bundles DSLR-A330L and DSLR-A330Y). In addition to the two new lenses already mentioned by you, the new Sony Alpha 4-5,6/55-200mm DT (SAL-55200) is listed as well. So, this appears to be quite real.

Greetings,

Matthias

I must have missed that - thanks for pointing it out Matthias. To be honest I was more interested to see if the rumoured "A800" or "A1000" were there so was not looking at the other end of the list.
All the best
