Hello, I've just joined the forum. I hope to join in some lively and helpful discussions.
I'm currently using the Sony A900 and can't see myself changing cameras anytime soon. For me, it is the perfect dSLR - simple to use, built solidly, compatible with dozens of past and present lenses, and as close to film quality as it possible to get.
I use Minolta lenses (24mm f/2.8, 35mm f/2, 50mm f/1.4, and 28-135mm f/4-4.5) because, having used Dynax 5, 7, and 9 cameras, I know that Minolta lenses are first class and light enough to handle well. I also use a Leica M6 for black and white work, and see the A900 as the perfect digital companion.
My main interests are street photography (both day and nighttime), built environment, and ambient scenery (eg misty landscapes or autumn colours).
I just thought I would introduce myself to fellow Sonyheads and look forward to hearing from people.

Hey all, I'm Stephen and I've been shooting with my a99 since release last year. Before that, I shot Canon. Despite a few quirks, the EVF is a very effective tool and has made me highly efficient on the job, especially with prime lenses, which I love to use.

Over the last year, photography has begun to mean something to me. My photos are very much about me, whether I'm shooting portraits, weddings, or anything else.

I use Dyxum for A-mount lens info. As a Sony user for a year now, I'm reconsidering what glass I want to own and plan to hang out in the buy/sell section.

Cheers!

Hello

First of all, welcome to Dyxum
You will learn a lot and we like you to share some pictures.

One thing, you posted in "open views", but that is intended for showing pictures, and I don't see any
I guess you wanted to post in "open talk", you could ask one of the mods to move your post.
Why not follow me on Instagram? @Addy_101
