I believe the CV21/f4 has pretty bad purple corners and needs Cornerfix, no?

Hanging 18-200 on NEX 5’s own tripod mount never gave me a comfortable feeling. So searched for a solution. Luckily I found an old releasable tripod mount (I’m not sure which brand) in the local photo store. With a little modification (rubber on the inner side and cutaway for lens release button) a perfect fit for the lens.

douglasf13 at time I may see some purple corners but it's 1 out of 100 shots... and it's really not that bad.

Yeah, it's there, but it isn't all that bad in those shots. Thanks!

Well, I have succumbed, snapping up a NEX-3 with 16mm lens and a free battery thrown in. First thing I did was attach my Tamron SP 90mm f/2.5 macro via an MD mount:
![]() With all the talk of the next NEX model being designated a NEX-3C, I was surprised to see that the NEX manual on the supplied CD-ROM is for the 'NEX-3/NEX-3C/NEX-5/NEX-5C'. As far as I can see the only difference referred to in the manual is that Eye-Fi cards do not work in the 3C/5C. |

I received a couple spare batteries from Hong Kong a couple days ago and scared up a 8GB SD card and would like to try some time lapse as I have access to a high rise balcony tonight.
What software has anyone found that is good in stitching the 30 min chunks together and then compressing (NEX 3,so MP4) video down to a min or two time lapse? |

NEX-5 with 18-55 set at f20 (fumbly with gloves). Not the best lens. These were made April 8, at Chewelah, Washington's 49 Degrees North ski area. ![]() (that's my daughter in the chair in front of me) ![]() |
