Although, I also find discussions about rumors on non-existent camera's funny.

But a bit of fun is welcome here.

I was quite specific to say the pro level camera (D700, D3, D3s, exception being the D3X), not Nikon's consumer/enthusiast cameras.

The D800 makes coffee and comes with its own anti gravity machine.

Here's a more down to earth rumor but i still don't believe Sony will make any more Axxx(OVF) cameras so maybe SLT EVF A88 A92?

Yes Nikon's anti gravity AG mode will be killer.
Just think no more need for those heavy clunky tripods.
IBIS OIS will become obsolete.
Through Nikon's patented 4D GPS system your camera locks onto its own geosynchronous orbit around the earth. And think about it.no more dropped cameras.
Also through 4D GPS, instead of wireless file transfers the D800 has the ability to transport the operator as well to a predetermined location.
Great for when you are late for that next photo shoot.
Interstellar transport won't be available till the next generation though.

Not true. Nikon does design their own sensors, they just don't manufacture them. The D700, D3 and D3s are Nikon designed and built by who knows, but most likely Sony on Nikon's behalf.

The Nikon D3 / D3s / D700 sensor (12 MP Full Frame) is being produced by Samsung, and NOT by Sony. Many APS-C sensors used in Nikonm DSLRs, however, are Sony sensors.

I believe based on the quality of the sensor stiching, speculation was that the D3/D700/D3s sensors were made by a Taiwanese fabricator (very cost effective of course), than someone like Sony....or even Samsung.

I believe ALL (not "many") APS-C sensors used in Nikon DSLRs, along with the FF in the D3X are Sony sensors.

Alpha 9OO and a few other bits and pieces..

well,it's nice to know new camera came out. congratulate the Nikon user. One think that confuse me ATM. The Nikon D3X is almost 8,000 dollars. The D800 is like only 3,000 dollars. Something is not right, and the Nikon is making me LOL. First, The price gap between this two camera is huge, it stupid that people would spend money on the older D3x. Second, how Nikon able to makes money from selling D3x when there new full frame camera. Unless Nikon sells the D800 and D3x to consumer like Sony did which offer a850 and a900, but The price doesn't make sense to me at all. Meanwhile, here is the part makes me LOL. The senors from D3x comes from Sony that is fact. We not sure if D800 used Sony sensor, the maker of D800 sensor still a rumor. If Nikon did developed this senors which they makes a claim or prove that Sony makes better sensor then Nikon. Because the price different double, D800 vs D4x. 3000 vs 8000. I am a consumer of course will only look at D800 save that 3k buy a better lens.
minolta 50mm f1.4, 20mm f2.8, CZ24-70mm, 35mm f2, 200mm f2.8, 50mm f2.8 Macro, 85mm f1.4,
