I think it could be the Dynax 9 that's the expensive bit; is it a limited edition? I can't quite tell from a quick google...
This suggests the Titanium body is a limited run of 1,000 units Whereas this seems to suggest all Dynax 9's were titanium I'm sure there are many people on here who can put the record straight (my knowledge of legacy minolta/KM things is very limited), but the Dynax 9 page on here (here doesn't mention titanium. So which Minolta buff will be first to reply? (and how many simultaneous posts will be made in this call for knowledge )

Another seller on TradeMe has a similarly exaggerated sense of value when it comes to a "softy" and some other gear. His name starts with "nik".

if it really is a Ti it is a bit special since it had a titanium body, was build to a limited number of copies and had some extra features over the standard "9".
none of those things nowadays will make it a better camera compared with present day Sony offerings. so, even when the original price was $ 32000, it can only be sold much lower - as the starting bid ($2000) also indicates. i guess when you want a decent used camera a Sony a900 would be a far better (and cheaper) option. unless of course when you are a collector and just want the Ti body - then it might be "priceless". |

The same seller listed the same thing months ago and claimed he wouldn't relist if it didn't sell.

Ti stand for 'totally inflated'... i.e. the prices quoted.
