Dodge, I was thinking you wanted a thread somewhat on the lines of Vermeer's The Art of Painting: not actual about "a teacher at work", "a painter at work", but more about the essence, an abstract of teaching or painting. It seems I was reading too much into this....

A private tutor, also is a teacher. I stand corrected once more
