Welcome to part 5 of the "recent shots" thread.

A reminder of the rules for this thread:

The idea of this thread is:
  • to post recent pictures, less than a week old
  • to post only one picture a day (no more)


Of course all are encouraged to comment others work and discuss various aspects of posted photos.

Thanks Darosa, this was the first time in a while I had been out with the camera to do something more creative. My favourite time is definitely dusk or near dusk in the case of this shot. I love the cool blue that the light brings just after sunset. What I should have mentioned is that I used a Lightcraft Workshop ND500MC to slow the shutter speeds further.

A good friend of mine (Captain D) walking trough mud and snow on a 33km hike this week. We covered the route in 8h 15min (breakfast and lunch included).

Well, trip was not all that interesting and it was raining half the time. Mud & snow do not make a nice subject. If I've had more than a few decent and interesting shots I would've posted them for sure!
