For a successful technology reality has to take precedence over public relations, as nature cannot be fooled.

The bitter taste of poor quality lingers much longer than the sweet smell of low prices.

Feel really guilty now , but many thanks for the rose. I don't get roses every day.
The Trioplan has arrived, only need to adapt an adaptor. In the meantime I learned that I won't get it to focus to infinity given the shorter Altix focal flange depth, but most of the time this lens will not be used at infinity, so probably can live with that.
Unfortunately some serious health issues with close relatives need quite some attention and time, so my new toy(s) will have to wait on the shelve for a while. Trying to keep an eye on the forum, but posting may be limited for a while.
