G'day Andrew,

I do know that they can give approximate costs over the phone, but if you require a confirmed quote, they charge for the quote if you dont proceed with the repair or they wave the fee if you go ahead.

Hi Andrew,
Progear repaired my 18-80CZ last July. The focus ring became stuck and would not auto or manual focus.
They replaced the focus operation ring.

WORK DONE - To dismantle and replace focus operation ring, adjust, clean and test. Total cost $199.97. This also included return postage.

I spoke with them several times on the phone and were a pleasure to deal with.
