Optical effect or the invisible hypnotic beam coming from the tower, made visible only through your photography?

(glad you updated the series, I was telling people they could see progress on the shard here)

Optical effect :-) - shot through a train window with a polarizer, which seems to have given me some weird effects (Newton's rings?)
