It doesn't say DT in the article but on the Sony site it elludes to the fact it is a DT lens.

Seems to be a DT lens - see Technical specifications SAL-18135.

The limiting factor of image quality rather will be the inability of the photographer than the clearly distinct shortcomings of the camera ;-)

Definitely DT. For one because it would be impossible to build a full-frame lens with these optical properties at this size, but also because we can see a "DT" on the lens front in one of the camera kit photos provided by Sony as part of the press release. You cannot see it in the dedicated lens photos, though.

I find it "interesting", that neither the German, the British nor the American press release mentions the fact, that this lens is for APS-C format, only. Either Sony's marketing people are completely clueless or they deliberately try to keep any "full-frame related questions" low-profile for unknown reasons.
