Hi Dyxumers !

Is there anyone who experienced this with the A230 :
Every now and then my daughter's camera produces a white frame instead of the picture she was aiming to shoot.

Tried different lenses, memory card and battery but it still does it and not only at the first frame.

Any idea ?

Thx

Chris

How slow is the shutter speed?

The other thing I could think of is maybe the shutter is jammed/broken.

I would have to check the speed, I'll try testing it tomorrow.
The issue only happens every now and then, no particular conditions that I can recall...

Maybe she is slipping into Shutter Priority/Manual mode as these would still have previous settings and maybe they are set for a slow shutter speed. It's that or a dodgy shutter.
