I have my trusted a700 in for a service and a infrared conversion really looking forward to giving this baby a new lease of life. with the resale values of good quality dslr's being so poor seemed to me to be a good investment.
Has anyone else on hear had there's converted? if so how does it fair operation wise? Be interesting to know

I actually just did this on my A330, and though I need to go back in and fix a couple issues, it actually works very well. I think I left the sensor assembly screws too loose which also let the hot mirror retaining bracket mask part of the sensor. I can't focus anywhere close to infinity until I figure it out, but even though it's a CCD sensor, it's still proving to be very sensitive to infrared.

Are you happy with the IR conversion? What company did you use to do the conversion? I am thinking of doing the same thing to my old a700.
