The 2011 day prime thread

This thread is for pictures taken a particular day with a particular prime lens - the idea is inspired by Week 50, in which participants shot with a 50mm lens for the 50th week of the year.

In order to fit in more options, this thread is for people to post pictures taken on the appropriate day for their prime lens - hence shots with a 16mm taken on 16 January..

Shown below are the most common prime values with associated dates - this isn't intended as an exclusive list - ie if you have a 14mm prime, you can shoot with it on the 14th, the list is only there to give you an idea of when the appropriate day falls....


Day 8 = 08 January 2011
Day 16 = 16 January 2011
Day 20 = 20 January 2011
Day 24 = 24 January 2011
Day 28 = 28 January 2011
Day 30 = 30 January 2011
Day 35 = 04 February 2011
Day 50 = 19 February 2011
Day 58 = 27 February 2011
Day 60 = 01 March 2011
Day 70 = 11 March 2011
Day 85 = 26 March 2011
Day 90 = 31 March 2011
Day 100 = 10 April 2011
Day 105 = 15 April 2011
Day 135 = 15 May 2011
Day 180 = 29 June 2011
Day 200 = 19 July 2011
Day 300 = 27 October 2011

I should have ordered that 24mm Zeiss when the prices were cheaper...Now, I need to wait for day 50 to post any picture on this thread. Still, this bump may remind a few other folks who have a 24mm to post some pictures tomorrow.

Crud. I missed 16, 20, and 28.      Will be setting a reminder up for Day 50 for sure. Nice shots so far though!    

LOL. I suppose I could do that for February pic-a-day.
