You have some nice lenses to practise with Macca. I like those Topcor shots especially.

Thanks, the Topcor is a lens I`m really looking forward to getting to know. It`s made me stop bargain hunting for the time being, it`s that good! The tokina didn`t excite me on APSC but it might be more interesting on FF,it already looks sharper than it did on my A35. |

Added my new fisheye adapter (that I first discovered here on Dyxum, thanks Shauna!) to my Sony 16mm E-mount for a few outtakes. With the adapter attached, you get the equivalent of a 10mm lens, so next year, Day 10! Really a fun lens so far!
These were taken at the USS Iowa Museum at Los Angeles Harbor (San Pedro, CA). Sweep Panoramas on day 16
![]() DSC07965-DSC07967 This is a stitch of three sweep panoramas; unimaginably, Hugin actually did the math and didn't blow up. The first sweep pano is left edge to the tower (south to north); the second sweep is the tower to the bottom of the stage (west to east); the third sweep is bottom of the stage up (45-degree vertical). Hugin and Sony's Sweep Panorama are sometimes impressive! Here's another, where the camera does an amazing job, considering. I wouldn't hang it on my wall, but I am impressed - the sweep move was an L-shaped over-then-up. ![]() DSC07983 |

Yes, it's amazing what these stiching programs are capable of!
Here's my gear for Day 20. I wanted to go out in the blizzard and capture the snowfall. So I DIY'ed a kind of snow protector for my NEX + Flektogon 20. I chose the Flek because it has a nice metal hood to which I could tape what you see in the photo: ![]() And it worked! Well there was a bit a plastic vignetting in the righthand top corner but I was able to deal with that in PP. BTW: patent pending |

These are my Day 10 photos. I was taking care of my mother for a week after she had surgery and Day 10 fell in the middle of that week. I had no way to post my pictures on Day 10. I just realized I can post them as outtakes so here they are. john

I really lost it this time on the challenge.. missed on day 10.
And now again on day 20 from the same lens. My excuse on that one was the snow blizzard. We were at a naturepark and although predicted it suddenly started. I wanted to take my 20mm overthere but it was snowing so hard that I was unable to change lenses without damage. Now I hope for day 24. |

Hey John, nice shots and you can post any day, as long as the shot was taken with an XY mm lens on the XY's day of the year. Since your 10 mm shots are on Jan 10 you can post them in the main day prime challenge thread. Outtakes/training are for shots taken on a different day. |

Thanks for the comment and the information, pegelli. Now that I know it's OK I will post my pics in the main thread.
