Very interesting tread. While personaly I find electronic viewfinders very exciting I doubt they will make prism one obsolete unless they can provide similiar FF 100% preview for the fraction of price. How much cost 900 viewfinder. This would be manufacture point of view.
For the user -the beauty lies in the eye of beholder. Read it as you like...

I think it would be very interesting to come back to this thread in early 2013 and see what our perceptions are at that time. It's possible the market will see little movement in this area during that time, but opinions ... maybe yes / maybe no.
