Over at DPR. They featured the A900! There are quite a bit of comments.

I thought it was funny when the Nikon Df was released and all the Nikonians wet their pants because it represented real photography - the A900 simply was an improved digital version of the Dyxum/Maxxum 9 and it is a picture taking machine, nothing more, nothing less. I still like mine

I've just been lucky enough to pick up an A900 with 1800 actuations to go with the well used A850. It came with the VGC90AM grip too. I would have got one sooner if I'd realised how much better it is than the Meike grip I've been using on the A850.

The rarely used A580 will be even more rarely used now. I never used the video facility, always shoot RAW and rarely feel the need for the extra reach of APSC compared to the excellent crop ability of the full frame images.

Hopefully these two will last me a while.
