Dear Dyxumers,

This is probably the first time when I had to use the "special case" rules in the DPC - that's because we had the draw between two photos: both earned 27 points. As the rules say, in such case the number of 3-point votes decide which one is the winner: one photo got 7 3-point votes while the other got "only" 6.

So, after double counting and making sure that everything is OK I'm pleased to announce the following photo as the winner of this DPC:

"Cricket Frog and my Blueberries" by fem2008

The Honourable Mention award goes to a photo which in fact was equally good:

"Catwalk" by mediman30

and also to the photo which was only a whisker behind the two above:

"Sugar Moon" by kenner1

Congratulations to the winner and the HMs and thank you all for voting and participation in this DPC ...

Happy shooting,
MiPr

Great images. I would have thought in the case of a draw, that both could be awarded the winner's trophy, and the both added to the Hall of Fame gallery. Perhaps the admins might give that a thought?

I second that. Catwalk is an awesome shot.

Thank you very much everyone. I am very honored to have won this one among very strong contenders. Congrats to all Mediman20 and Kenner1 for great shots as well.
